The buttons on the remote stopped working occasionally even though the batteries are fully charged, they take minutes to unlock the door. When they don't work, I try to unlock the door by putting the key in the lock, manually. That doesn't work either. There is rumor that the car can resync the fob if the fob is placed in the slot. My 2012 Prius C Two key fob has been slowly not working. It would not work first thing in the morning but would work after the car would run. Some other lights like TPMS would come on and when I checked the 12v battery with the engine off it was only 11.6v Prius C (driver and passenger) locks don’t respond to key fob or power door lock. I’ve been having to manually open the drivers side door with the physical key and then unlock the passenger door by reaching over. Rear doors and trunk work fine and respond properly.
