Unfortunatly I cant get it to complie under ubuntu 10.10 x86_64 but perhaps this will help someone else. A workaround would be to download the driver from SCM website and do minor changes to the code: I use a computer with internal smart card reader and when I insert the smartcard, it's not detected. If I run pcsc_scan nothing happens, lspci doesn't show the smart card reader I have tester Ubuntu 20.04 LTS , 22.04 LTS, 24.04 (end of July) Either with the latest GA kernel or OEM I can't see the smart card reader nor the smart card itself
