Supported data types currently include COVID-19 vaccine cards , general immunization records, International Patient Summaries , and Digital Health Insurance Cards. The potential for savings results from a number of things, including replacing a paper-based system with a system that allows authentication of patients and insurance members at their doctor's office with a smart card and where they can obtain e-prescriptions.
